Evan Hughes is an award winning play-by-play broadcaster, sideline reporter and podcast host from Richmond, Virginia. He currently serves as the Director of Radio Broadcasting for the St. Cloud Rox in the Northwoods League, where he was named the 2018 Broadcaster of the Year. Hughes does select work for the ACC Network Extra, broadcasting collegiate athletics. He hosts the Tech Sideline Podcast, a weekly show discussing Virginia Tech football and men's basketball. In May of 2020, Hughes was named the No. 2 collegiate sports broadcaster in the country by the Jim Nantz Award.
